"Excellent Hotel"
This hotel was ideally situated right on the river where you could see amazing views of Florence and sunsets. You could walk to all the sites in Florence and excellent restaurants and bars.The rooms were excellend and the food was great. The staff were very helpful. Overall I would strongly recommend this hotel to my friends and colleagues travelling to Florence.

"Renaissance Luxury"
Our stay at the Westin was great. The hotel is right by the Arno river which was great for late night promenades a minutes from shopping and all of the amazing architecture and histrory in the old city.
The lounge area, very inviting, you have to have a Bellini and listen to the love music.
The rooms, luxurious, high ceilings, amazing beds, large bathrooms and renaissance decor ... If you want to be wisked back to historical times but keep modern amenities ... it is the place to stay in Firenze.

"Absolutely Wonderful; Wouldn't Stay Anywhere Else in Florence"
My husband and I stayed at the Westin Excelsior in Florence in June of 2009. We originally used Starwoods points to book our stay. The staff at the hotel is fantastic. The entire time we were there they tried to accommodate our every request. They even upgraded us to a better room twice! The suites overlooking the Arno are absolutely stunning. The room itself is huge and the view is just perfect. Definitely book a suite if you can.
This was, without a doubt, one of our favorite hotels during our trip to Italy, and if we return to Florence we would most definitely stay here again.

"Stunning, gorgeous,great position"
I spent three glorious nights in this hotel, from the outset the service was second to none, I E mailed from home and requested certain items were placed in my room, these were all complied with, we were greeted with a friendly welcome and shown to our room...wow..what a view, overlooking the river and the old part of Florence...

"FABULOUS HOTEL"
We stayed at the Westin Excelsior June 8-11 and June 13. Both times it was awesome. The rooms are absolutely beautiful! The staff at the Westin couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. My husband and I want to give a HUGE thank you and kudos to Mossimo!! He is awesome!! We loved our stays in Florence and will definitely return to the Westin when we come back next year.

"Tutto bene"
We stayed at the Westin Florence in Piazza Ognissanti June 1 st to 4th.
We loved it ! Stefano checked us in and walked us to our room. The landings were very opulent with paintings and statues. He gave us a choice between 2 rooms and we chose the suite with 2 huge french windows opening on the Arno river. It was beautiful and so comfortable. The bath had a separate toilet, bathtub and glass enclosed shower.All marble.
We had our breakfast and 2 dinners at ORVM. Antonio was our waiter and he really made our meal special ! Buon giorno Antonio ! The food at ORVM was really excellent. We really had good time. I highly recommend this trip. Try to do Cinque Terre and Tuscany . We did and we LOVED it.

"First class all the way"
From the minute we arrived, we received 5 Star treatment from the Westin staff. We were upgraded to a superior room with an amazing view of the Arno River. The location is within a 5 to 15 minute walking distance to all the major venues including Ponte Vecchio, the Uffizi, Piazza Signoria, the Duomo and the train station. Niko from the concierge desk made our Florence experience an amazing one, from making sure we didn't wait on line at the major museums like the Uffizi to making reservations at amazing restaurants. We would like to give special thanks to Niko. The rooms are beautifully decorated. The beds are truly "heavenly." We can't wait to go back to Florence and stay at the Westin.

"Outstanding Staff, Excellent Service, Beautiful Hotel"
My wife and I recently celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary with a trip to Italy. We visited Rome, Florence and Venice. The Westin Excelsior in Florence was our favorite hotel. The building is beautiful and the rooms are exquisitely furnished. The most outstanding thing about the hotel was the staff, especially the front desk staff. They went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. In particular, I want to mention Carolina, a young lady from Belgium, who was especially considerate. Thanks to all at the Excelsior in Venice. Your many kindnesses helped make our stay in Florence memorable.
